What Time Is It?

Life is an amazing teacher if we allow ourselves to  become students.   As I get older I understand the value of time and the significance in knowing just how to spend my time.    So often we tend to invest time in things and people who serve us little to know purpose, while neglecting the very ones that pour into and sacrifice for us. We spend time on jobs that will continue with our without our presence.  We invest in people's business who have no idea who we are.  We focus our energy in things that will never reap dividends to us, and then we become frustrated when we realize that we have wasted time on the wrong things. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is to know where to invest my time.  I will share with you 3 important areas of life to always invest time in. 1.) I Didn't Sign Up For That!

How many times do we find ourselves buried in responsibilities and overwhelmed with task that we are literally dreading?   OMG! I can remember the numerous days I consistently walked around with pressure on my forehead because I had taken on or been delegated to do things I just didn’t want to do.   When you are reliable and responsible, people tend to call on you; they know you are capable of delivering.   They see an opportunity to pass the baton to you, and your failure or unwillingness to say "no" puts you in a place where you are overwhelmed and often confused. Ever find yourself trying to manage your dreams and someone else’s too or thinking "I didn't sign up for that?" Now don’t get me wrong, I believe in serving and helping others visions come into fruition.   We definitely need each other, but we must be mindful not to assume so much responsibility that it interferes with our own peace of mind.   Set boundaries.   You must be okay with...
